Born in Fairfax, Virginia yet raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Andrew Mosby Perry has always taken pride in being a Milwaukee-based artist. Andrew has been painting since 2008 and drawing since the age of six. Although primarily known by many as an oil painter, Andrew works in a variety of 2D mediums such as oil pastels, paper collage, acrylic paint, charcoal, and Photoshop. As a professional artist, Andrew is working hard on building an audience within his hometown and abroad. Andrew’s artwork has been displayed in the following local Milwaukee galleries: Material Studios + Gallery, Muse Gallery Guesthouse, Spectrum Salon, Scout Gallery, and Walker’s Point Center for the Arts. Andrew has shown artwork at Owl’s Eye Art Collective in Lowertown, St. Paul.
Andrew got his Bachelor Fine Arts for Painting & Drawing at UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts in 2022. And since 2022, Andrew has held an artist residency at Material Studios + Gallery. When he’s not working on his own personal work, Andrew likes creatively collaborating with emerging artists as a way of building a closely-knit network of artists supporting each other.
